What trends in the legal field affected business in 2022?

Egor Noskov, Managing Partner of Duvernoix Legal, divides clients into two unequal parts: some managed to emigrate to unfriendly countries, others did not.
"The main difference between the protection of Russian businessmen from white-collar crime this year is that if they managed to leave the Russian Federation in advance, the probability of their extradition is highly reduced," concludes Egor Noskov. “The only exceptions are authoritarian regimes and countries that are generally sympathetic to Russia. Therefore, I would not advise such businessmen to choose any authoritarian regime for their place of residence, while from Europe, the UK, the USA, Canada and other unfriendly countries, one can hardly expect any accelerated extradition of any persons accused of any crimes to Russia."
